     DESTINATION HOMES
  West Side Development

     Destination Homes is hosting several stakeholder meetings for city council members, planning commission members, and stakeholders to collect input and ideas related to future development proposals for the city's west side. Initial meetings were held on Oct. 3 & Oct. 4.
    A follow-up meeting with stakeholders will be held Oct 23 at 6pm, an Open House for the public on Oct 25 at 6pm, and Oct 26 at 6pm a final presentation to city officials and the public. 

  
           2017 ELECTION

     Vote By Mail Ballots can be mailed or dropped off at City Hall. In-person voting is available at city hall from 7am - 7pm on November 7, 2017.

        YOUTH CITY COUNCIL  
 The Youth City Council for the 2017-2018 term was recently sworn into office by Mayor Romney. The Youth Council provides opportunities for the City's youth to develop leadership abilities, and become educated and responsible citizens. They do service projects and organize fun events for residents. Click here for a list of members.




   GAS PIPELINE PROJECT

     Questar Gas, now Dominion Energy, is  in the process of replacing two high-pressure gas lines that run from North Salt Lake to Centerville, and they will be crossing West Bountiful from south to north over the course of 2017. In many cases, they will remain in their existing right-of-way, but they are also exploring moving the pipes into city streets where possible. This project will impact 1450 W, 400 N, Jessi’s Meadow Dr., Jessi’s Meadow Way, 1200 N, 1100 W, Pages Ln and Porter Ln.
